A SECTION of Marmion Avenue in Kinross was closed for two hours today after a truck’s trailer rolled while going through a roundabout.

Senior Constable Troy Robertson said the road was closed to traffic in both directions while debris was cleared.

“It is believed the truck has taken the roundabout too quickly, which has caused the trailer to roll over,” he said.

“Luckily there was nobody on the footpath at the time or they could have been crushed."

Const Robertson called on witnesses to the crash to contact police.

Marmion Avenue was reopened by 2pm.
