KARRINYUP mother Sue Papadoulis is equipping women with the necessary skills to start and grow a home-based business.
She said many women were turning to home-based businesses as the financial crises led to job losses.
She launched her website, www. homebizchicks.com, in March this year.
“With the economy the way it is, many women need to earn extra money or have found themselves without a job,” she said.
“Home Biz Chicks is helping women realise they have positive options, even if they or their partner are out of a job.”
Mrs Papadoulis runs her own home-based business, which she began in 2007 after the after the birth of her daughter.
“My main concern was not wanting to put my child into day care,” Ms Papadoulis said.
“I feel so fortunate to have taken the step in starting my business – I only wish I had done it sooner.”
