AN activity pack designed to make family holidays a breeze is the brainchild of Doubleview mum Sally Ferreira.

The mother of two and creator of Zoom Packs came up with the idea after travelling long distance to her family’s second home of Argentina.

“Having a husband from overseas meant we travel a bit with our two boys on some long plane trips,” Mrs Ferreira said.

“I always used to put together my own packs for the kids before flights, but sometimes in the midst of packing and planning, time runs out.

“There was nothing like this on the market so I thought ‘why don’t I design it’.”

The packs, designed to keep kids busy with enjoyable activities while travelling by plane, car or train, are available in three different age groups, from one to three, three to five and four to seven year olds.

“Each age group has the choice of two different packs,” she said.

“You might even find, depending on your child, some older kids will also enjoy the packs.

“Each pack has a magnet board and marker which can double as a table, an exercise or mini scrapbook for the kids to use either as a travel journal, sketchbook or anything else.

“There is a pencil case with either crayons or markers, and then some age appropriate craft or learning activities.”
