Giveaways with a side of whining

Comments:

Forgive me, it's been a couple of weeks since I last posted.  You see, I've been struggling with the weather.  It's been an all-consuming kind of thing.

It would seem that the Twin Tornado have an in-built Bureau of Meteorology that detects exactly the type of weather that prevents us from going out.

And then they turn feral.

Because they know they've got me cornered, and I've nowhere to run.

So we've had regular civil wars breaking out.  A number of territory disputes.  Some sanctioning (me : toys; and them : each others' food).  It's been nothing short of chaotic.  It's safe to say, that the only times they've come together, is when waging war on their older sister or me.

#1 Hubby is most weary from work, followed by tagging in with the kids (wrestling style...totally appropriate analogy with my kids).  He is totally grateful that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for him - his work conference in Bali.

WORK CONFERENCE IN BALI....

There are no words...well actually there are, but my mother would be horrified.

So as I'm white-knuckling my coffee mug, counting down the days until school holidays - and having to wrangle all 3 kids indoors.

He is on his own countdown.  Counting down until he hits Bali for 2 weeks of Bintang, Mojito's and child-free bliss.  All at the expense of his employer.  All in the name of a "Work Conference" so I can't even complain about him going.

The universe is not fair.  Seriously.

Anywho, instead of continuing to bitch and moan (because I'd rather save that for another post), I thought I'd end on a positive note.

I have 2 giveaway's on my blog, both ending soon.

This one in particular is an awesome prize for any school-aged child.  Especially in the lead up to school holidays.  It's like a guilt-free online babysitter, as they learn while you relax.

Entries close midnight, this Sunday 3 July.

And on that note, I'm off to work out where the Playdoh has gone. Again.
